Built-in DRU gas fires offer the dramatic look of a real fireplace with the convenience of instant, remote-controlled heat. Choose from the Global CF range for homes with a brick-built chimney, or from the Global BF, Metro and Maestro Eco Wave ranges if your home has no chimney.

Every DRU gas fire is built for one of two flue types. Choose based on your property — and if you're not sure, our team will confirm during your free home survey.
CF
Designed for homes with a brick-built chimney. The flue passes up through your existing chimney to safely vent combustion gases.
Ideal if your property already has a working chimney in place.
BF
Designed for homes with no chimney. The fire is fully room-sealed and vents directly through an external wall via a concentric flue.
Ideal for new builds, extensions or properties where the chimney has been removed or was never installed.

Conventional flue models are designed for homes that already have a brick-built chimney. The flue connects directly into your existing chimney to safely vent combustion gases, giving you the look of a built-in fire without the loss of efficiency from an open fireplace.

Balanced flue models are completely room-sealed and vent directly through an external wall via a concentric flue. No chimney is required, making them ideal for newer homes, extensions and properties where a traditional chimney has been removed or was never built.

DRU's Metro range pairs balanced-flue convenience with Eco Wave technology and the Vario burner system. Available in front, 2-sided, 3-sided and tunnel configurations to suit room layouts from snug to open-plan.

The Maestro range uses balanced-flue venting with DRU's Dynamic Flame Burner and Eco Wave heat-recovery system. Choose from front, 2-sided, 3-sided and tunnel formats, plus optional tall (XTU/Tall) variants for floor-to-ceiling fireplace builds.
