2. Our Services

We supply and install wood burning stoves, multi-fuel stoves, freestanding stoves, inset stoves and associated accessories (hearths, beams, chambers, surrounds and flue systems) for residential and commercial properties across Essex, Kent and London. All installation work is carried out by our HETAS certified engineers.

The information on this Website, including product descriptions, images and pricing, is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute a contractual offer. A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written quotation and you accept it in writing (including by email).

3. Pricing & Quotations

• All prices displayed on the Website are guide prices and may vary depending on your specific requirements, property type and installation complexity.
• Where prices are shown, they are stated exclusive and inclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). Where only one figure is shown, it is inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• A formal fixed-price quotation will be provided following a free home survey or consultation. This quotation will be valid for the period stated on it.
• We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the Website. If a pricing error affects your order or quotation, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel.

4. Your Consumer Rights

If you are a consumer (an individual acting for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession), you have statutory rights under UK consumer law that cannot be excluded or restricted by these Terms. In particular:

• Consumer Rights Act 2015: Goods supplied must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill, within a reasonable time (where no time is fixed) and at a reasonable price (where no price is agreed).
• Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013: Where a contract is entered into away from our premises (for example, following a home survey) or at a distance, you may have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of entering into it. We will inform you of your cancellation rights at the point of contract. Please note that once installation work has begun with your express agreement, your right to cancel may be limited.

5. Warranty & Guarantees

• Workmanship warranty: All installation work carried out by Lux Woodburners Ltd is covered by a 5-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion.
• Manufacturer warranties: Stoves and products are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. Details and durations vary by manufacturer and will be provided upon purchase.
• These warranties are in addition to, and do not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

6. Complaints

We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 working days. If you remain dissatisfied, you may refer the matter to your local Trading Standards office or pursue alternative dispute resolution.

You agree to use this Website lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Website in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation
